When does Celebrity MasterChef 2022 start? Contestants in full and what time to watch new series on BBC One


It’s time to dust down your aprons and get marinading as Celebrity Master Chef is once again upon us.

John Torode and Gregg Wallace will be hoping to whip the 20 celebrity contestants’ culinary skills into shape over six weeks.

However, with every show where there are winners and losers; some will rise and some will sadly get burned.

What can we expect from Celebrity Master Chef 2022?

Celebrity Master Chef will feature four heat weeks which concentrate on whittling down the celebrities and testing their abilities until only the best go through to the final stages.

There will be once again an array of cookery challenges designed to stretch the celebrities’ skills including the returning challenges in the heat rounds: Under The Cloche, The Street Food Challenge and Dinner Party Dish.

The semi-finalists and finalists will be set the task of cooking for large numbers of people including a special centenary challenge to mark 100 years of the BBC.

When can I watch it?

It’s back on our screens on Wednesday 10 August on BBC One at 8pm. The eighteen programs in the series will be aired over six weeks. You can watch it on BBC One or BBC iPlayer.
