After going through controversy not long ago due to a massive loss of followers, the content of some of its comedy specials, and more, Netflix has shaken all that off and continues with its release schedule as normal. Netflix, then, continues adding new licensed and original content every week, and this weekend will see the arrival of titles from different genres.

Netflix‘s catalog of documentaries keeps expanding this weekend with the addition of D.B. Cooper: Where Are You?!. This documentary series takes a look at the 50-year quest to find the mysterious man who hijacked a Northwest Airlines passenger jet in November 1971 and escaped with $200,000, never to be seen again. After five decades, few clues, and too many suspects, the identity of skyjacker DB Cooper remains one of the greatest mysteries of the 20th century.


Resident Evil


Resident Evil is an action horror TV series based on the famous video game series of the same name, taking place in its own universe but featuring the game series’ storyline as its backstory. Set in the year 2036, 14 years after the spread of Joy caused so much pain, Jade Wesker (Ella Balinska) fights for survival in a world overrun by the blood-thirsty infected and mind-shattering creatures. If living in this nightmarish, absolute carnage wasn’t enough, Jade is haunted by her past in New Raccoon City, her father’s chilling connections to the sinister Umbrella Corporation, and what happened to her sister, Billie (Adeline Rudolph). Also starring in Resident Evil are Paola Nuñez, Mpho Osei Tutu, Anthony Oseyemi, Marisa Drummond, and Lea Vivier.

persuasion is a drama movie directed by Carrie Cracknell and based on the novel of the same name by Jane Austen. Living with her snobby family on the brink of bankruptcy, Anne Elliot (Dakota Johnson) is an unconforming woman with modern sensibilities, but when Frederick Wentworth (Cosmo Jarvis), the dashing one she let get away, comes back into her life, Anne must choose between putting the past behind her or listening to her heart when it comes to second chances. Also starring are Henry Golding, Richard E. Grant, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Suki Waterhouse, and Ben Bailey.
